The strong Helsingin Sanomat brand now reaches more Finns than ever
The Helsingin Sanomat media family (Helsingin Sanomat, the Monthly magazine, the Nyt supplement, HS.fi, Radio Helsinki) reaches almost 1.8 million different people. Helsingin Sanomat and HS.fi combined reach over 1.6 million readers. The amount of Helsingin Sanomat readers grew by 9,000.

In August, the site received an average of nearly 1.3 million unique visitors a week, a third of which were Helsingin Sanomat subscribers.

In August, the mobile site was read on 212,000 different browsers a week. Nearly all of the visitors (90%) visited the site daily.

Helsingin Sanomat for the iPad generating buzz
Helsingin Sanomat's iPad app, released in December 2010, was the first Finnish newspaper to be designed and released in a version especially for e-reader devices. Currently the app has over 11,00 users.
